Quantum readiness for regulated institutions

Black stone colonnade with narrow amber light slits, representing quantum computing security for banks and regulated institutions

Banks, payment firms, exchanges, custodians and other regulated institutions hold data that must stay confidential for years and run on signatures that must not be forged. Both depend on public-key cryptography that a sufficiently powerful quantum computer would break. QuantSec gives you a clear view of that exposure, evidence you can share, and help to fix it.

01

Why quantum computing security matters now

Data with a long confidentiality life can be captured today and decrypted later. Supervisors and industry bodies are already asking how firms will respond. In the EU, the technical standards under DORA require financial entities to have an encryption policy that provides for updating cryptography in response to developments in cryptanalysis. The G7 Cyber Expert Group has published a roadmap to help the financial sector coordinate its transition.

Governments have published dates for moving away from quantum-vulnerable cryptography, starting with inventories now and ending with full migration by 2035. Our regulatory clock summarises the main milestones with links to each source.

02

What we do

  • A scan of your defined scope that finds the cryptography in use and classifies each finding by its quantum risk.

  • A digitally signed report with attack-surface analytics and a prioritised migration plan, which recipients can check has not been altered.

  • Hands-on help with post-quantum migration, from planning the order of work to checking the result.

  • Coverage on-chain and off-chain, so smart contracts, wallets and signing flows are assessed alongside conventional infrastructure.

03

PQC compliance evidence for boards and supervisors

A signed report gives risk committees, auditors and supervisors a fixed record of what was reviewed, what was found and what you plan to do about it. Because the report is digitally signed, recipients can confirm it is the version QuantSec issued.
