Quantum readiness for blockchain protocols

Glowing amber lattice of connected nodes in a dark void, representing on-chain and off-chain signature systems

Blockchains depend on digital signatures, usually ECDSA or EdDSA, to prove who controls an account. These schemes are vulnerable to a sufficiently powerful quantum computer. Once a public key is visible on-chain, for example after an address has signed a transaction, such a machine could in principle derive the private key behind it. Protocols that plan early have more options than those that wait.

01

On-chain and off-chain

Quantum exposure in a protocol is not limited to its contracts. We assess both sides:

  • On-chain: signature schemes, smart contracts, wallets, multisig and governance flows.

  • Off-chain: nodes, RPC endpoints, bridges and relayers, key management, front ends and the TLS that connects them.

02

What we do

  • A scan of your defined scope that finds the cryptography in use and classifies each finding by its quantum risk.

  • A digitally signed report with attack-surface analytics and a prioritised migration plan, which recipients can check has not been altered.

  • Hands-on help with post-quantum migration, from planning the order of work to checking the result.

  • Coverage on-chain and off-chain, so smart contracts, wallets and signing flows are assessed alongside conventional infrastructure.

03

Evidence your community can check

Because QuantSec reports are digitally signed, you can share the result with token holders, partners and exchanges, and they can confirm the report has not been altered.
